About the Georgie Awards®
Presented by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC), the awards celebrate excellence in home building and renovation in the residential construction industry. The Awards Gala is Canada’s premier housing awards program with over 800 industry professionals, government officials, and industry partners in attendance.
Awards are given in almost 50 categories, including for projects in new residential construction, renovation, interior design, and more. Due to the pandemic, the 2022 Georgie Awards® are for projects built between January 1, 2020 and November 21, 2021.
Our Projects On the List of Georgie Awards® Finalists
As a custom home builder, we are particularly proud of the categories in which we’re finalists. A custom home that we built on Alpine Way in Whistler, BC, is a finalist in the ‘Custom Homes under $1,000,000’ category. With massive windows overlooking the valley below, and a full-length second floor balcony, this home truly lets the outdoors in. The result is a bright spaciousness in a modern home design with mid-century modern furnishings and accessories.
Our custom-built home on W 19th St. in North Vancouver is a finalist in the ‘Custom Home between $1,000,001- $1,500,000’ category and the ‘Best Kitchen Area’. This home is ultra-modern inside and out, but remarkably comfortable and inviting. There’s a bright, open feeling throughout, including in the large rooms that get lots of natural light during the day. And they have the lighting to be bright or mood-setting at night.
Of course, the kitchen area is no exception. In addition to all the characteristics that make the rest of the home exceptional, the kitchen combines technology, design and practical efficiency in equal measure.

The 2022 Georgie Awards®
Making the list of finalists is even more impressive considering that CHBA BC received 11% more submissions this year. Originally scheduled for March 12 at the Hyatt Regency, the in-person Gala for the 30th annual Georgie Awards® hotel has been postponed to June 4, 2022.
